Meet Wendy and Elyse

Ashleigh Pano is a Client Advocate with Gilkison Group.

We are pleased to introduce two new team members to the Gilkison team – Elyse Del Fante and Wendy Groves. Wendy has joined the team in the role of Technical Support, providing technical and advice support to the advice team. Elyse has joined our team in an Administration Support role, another friendly face that you will meet as you call or visit the office. We are really excited to have both ladies on board.

Meet Wendy

Q: What’s your perfect Sunday?
A: A sleep in, then reformer pilates followed by brunch with friends. Then, a nice beach walk, cooking an early dinner for lovely family and finishing the day with a good movie and an early night. It’s the simply things in life that keep me happy.

Q: If you could meet anyone (dead or alive), who would it be and why?
A: Nando Parrado (still alive) is one of the sixteen Uruguayan survivors of Uruguayan Air Force Flight 571, which crashed in the Andes mountains on 13 October 1972. I had the pleasure of hearing him speak at a conference. His story of survival and how it has impacted his life is truly amazing.

Q: What’s one piece of advice you’d give your younger self?
A: Life is short, don’t put off to tomorrow what you can do today.

Meet Elyse

Q: What’s your perfect Sunday?
A: My perfect Sunday is to be by the beach with my dog, Basil and a good cup of coffee, enjoying the sunshine and taking in the sea breeze!

Q: What’s one piece of advice you’d give your younger self?
A: Don’t be so hard on yourself. Remember that everything will work out in the end. Stay focused, positive, confident and just be grateful for each day.

Q: What’s one thing you’re learning now and why is it important?
A: I’m learning at the moment how to improve myself each and every day. I ask myself, what can I do tomorrow that will make me more fulfilled whether that be at home, work and in the community? It is important to reflect each day on what I’ve achieved or learnt as I strive to be the best version of myself!
