Gilkison Client Event 2020

After an incredibly uncertain year, we were thrilled to be able to hold our annual pre-Christmas Client Event.

Due to COVID-19, many venues that we attempted to book were closed for renovations or had reduced capacity which meant we weren’t able to have hold our event there.

Much to our delight, we were able to secure the South of Perth Yacht Club for the evening. We were also very lucky with the beautiful weather that we had.

Overlooking the Swan River, the marquee was decorated in a very relaxed setting which flowed onto a grass area looking toward the Perth CBD. There are certainly worse places to be in the world!

Although previous years we have had a guest speaker, we decided that this years’ event would purely be a festive celebration, to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and enjoy each other’s company after what has been a tough year for many.

Instead, Dean welcomed everyone with a ten-minute introduction, and also gave a brief overview of what has been happening at Gilkison, highlighting the newest members of our team. We were delighted to see you all welcome them to the family.

Throughout the entire evening, there was a warm buzz of conversation around the room and it was lovely to see so many of you mingling and getting to know one another as part of the Gilkison community.

We always appreciate receiving feedback on our events, to hear what went well and what didn’t so that we can improve our future functions.
